With built-in modularity for everything from connectivity to switches, the TH80 from EPOMAKER is a keyboard for those who like to change things up. The 75% layout provides both typing comfort and space consciousness, as well as the programmable metal rotary knob that allows extra control of your setup. There are three ways of connectivity: Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4 GHz, and a USB-C wired output. Thanks to the hot-swappable sockets, it can accommodate a variety of south-facing switches, both 3 and 5-pin.
When it comes to the feeling and performance of your switches, every detail counts. For EPOMAKER TH80 mechanical keyboard, we go with Gateron Pro switches, available in five kinds of switches-pro yellow/red/brown/blue/black. In Gateron’s Pro line of switches, every detail delivers. Factory pre-lubricated for smooth travel straight out of the box, each switch features a POM stem and polycarbonate case for consistency and durability. A 3/5-pin, PCB-mount design makes installation a breeze, while a 50-million-keystroke lifespan means you won’t need to swap out your set anytime soon.
With a total travel distance of 380 millimeters, the Epomaker linear switches - Flamingo are engineered for ultra-smooth travel from top to bottom. Each switch features dual extended springs, which exhibit impressive rebound force for faster typing. True to its name, every Flamingo switch comes with pink and purple housing, with an initial force of 45 grams. On the other hand, the Epomaker tactile switches - Budgerigar delivers the next iteration of tactile typing, optimized for an authentic feel with unrivaled consistency. Rated for 50 million presses and an initial force of 47 grams, it provides a welcome tactile threshold without wobbling.
Equipped with a large-capacity battery, this keyboard supports wireless and wired connections. By the wireless option, either Bluetooth (up to 5.0) or 2.4GHz can be chosen, and the polling rate can be up to 1000hz with 2.4GHz. By the wired mode, macro can be programmed to better fit your typing habits. The modes can be easily switched by Fn+1/2/3(Bluetooth) / 4(2.4GHz) / 5(USB Wired). Note (None-Pro-Version): Green light under the left CTRL key is the battery indicator. When the keyboard is fully charged, the light will be off.
EPOMAKER TH80 keyboard comes with the popular EPOMAKER Theory Keycaps in unique MDA profile. Keycaps are made of top-grade PBT dye-subbed materials. PBT are often considered the top choice for keycap, even over ABS keycaps, as PBT is much more durable, oil-resistant (does not get shiny over time like ABS ones), and stays true to color. MDA profile is kind of a lower version of SA profile so it’s quite suitable for those who enjoy the sculpted keycaps without much height.
